FINAL Group project
Over twelve weeks at the end of the program at VFS we produce our final game projects. Mine was called Travis’ Terror aimed at the young and young heart. It is a 2D platformer in Flash, on the project I was responsible for enemy scripting, some core functionality scripting, Level Design and was the Project Manager on our team of three.
High Concept
“X”: Time to take back the closet!
Remember when shadows in your bedroom at night turned into monsters? When you were sure there was something in your closet? Take control of young Travis as he fights back the Boogyeman and his minions to force him from his closet and dreams once and for all! With aid of his trusty “Captain Awesome ™ Light Gun” and his safety blanket cape players will guide Travis through this 2D flash side scroller. Travis will have to be quick and brave or his dream will become a nightmare and only acts of courage will help Travis beat his fears. Should Travis’ dream become a nightmare his enemies will gain in power and the world of his dreams will change.

At the conclusion of our program members from the Vancouver games industry come to the school to see us present our work. These presentations are followed by a Q and A session and all attendees are invited to come play the games. Below is the video of my group’s presentation of Travis’ Terror.
