Map: CTF-Twister
Game: Unreal Tournament 3
Responsibilities: Concept to Completion. Intial design and layout, whitebox, final mesh selection and placement, lighting, and optimization. Uses base Unreal Tournament 3 packages
About: Twister is a capture the flag map, where player's must cross a series of rotating platforms to reach their opponent's flag.

The player begins the game in their team's base/flag platform. The players maneuver on the arena platforms which rotate around a central walkway. There are four distinct arenas, each designed to give advantage to the weapon located on that arena platform(rocket launcher, sniper rifle, bio rifle, and stinger mini-gun). Each ring is made up of one of each arena type, and there are two rings one on top of the other, rotating in opposite directions. Each base is defended by a turret at the front, and marked by a large energy spire at the back.
With all of the gaps in the floor of Twister jump boots give a player a large advantage in used correctly. Each of the eight arena platforms has a jump boot dispenser on it. When used correctly jump boots allow the player to jump from one area platform to the one following it, jump from the bottem ring to the top, reach the top of the center walls, and more...
Half way around the circumference of the map are two consoles, one blue and one red. Triggering one of these consoles will destroy the turret, and anyone in it, in the base that matches their colour.

Map: Vantage Training Environemnt

About: Vantage is a single player experiance where the player mut complete a series of challanges, suchs as: platforming, driving, combat, and hoverboard use. Before escaping the islands, and completing the training exercise.

The player begins play at the bottem of the central island. Platforming up to the top of the island then proceeds through a series of teleporters to take them to each of the different challenges. The first challenge is a platforming challenge, up the spinning whirlwind of platforms.
The second challenge centers around the hoverboard. The player is placed at the top of a large ski jump. With obstacles blocking the way down, and speed boosters and small jumps seeded down it, the player must maneuver down the jump then hit th ramp at the end and land as close to the center of the target as possible.
Next the player is transported to a race track. A Manta hover vehicle is spawned for them, and they must enter the vehicle and race around the track in under a certain amount of time. And just to make things ineresting, once the player begins racing around the track a turret spawns in and begins firing from a tower in the center of the track.
The player is then sent to the top of a large spire. With no other way down he must activate the grav catapult, and fire himself back to the center of the main platform. Landin directly on top of the corkscrew ramp, which lowers as the player lands.
After dropping to the raised platform, the player must grab weapons from the dispenser and defeat a series of enemies before escaping on the spaceship, to complete the training exercise.
