The Last Bough (1994)

"The Last Bough" is a comic post-apocalyptic tale of the last two people left alive on the earth. They fight over the last living leaf growing on the last living bough. They hate each other with a passion, they need each other with a passion. Their struggles are funny and heart-wrenching as they daringly risk all to alternately save or destroy the love and life around them. They struggle to find, in themselves, the seed to allow something, anything to grow in this god-forsaken wasteland.

This 11 minute video was shot at the old Burrard Dry docks in North Vancouver. This location, with its burnt out, broken building, is a fabulous backdrop to this tale of life after the holocaust.
