The following tutorials are intended to let people understand the general
concepts and steps of how to make a QTVR movie. They are not meant to record
all the detailed steps of how to make the movie. That's why we have a QTVR
class in our school. To summarize, there are basically 3 main parts. And
they are: A. taking photos B. setting up the tripod and C. using the software.
The following are the highlights of these steps.
A. Using the digital cameras

Step 1. Adjust a proper image resolution and compression setting
on the camera
Step 2. Take shots until the memory card is full
Step 3. Load pictures down to your computer --> more details about this camera

B. Setting up the tripod and QTVR mount for panorama
movies
Step 1. Set up the tripod -->snapshot
Step 2. Lock the mount on to the tripod -->snapshot
Step 3. Lock the camera on to the mount -->snapshot
Step 4. Balance the camera to the center of the camera rotation
Step 5. Set the Degree on the mount device -->snapshot
Step 6. Keep shooting and rotate the mount
C. Setting up for panorama & object movie in QTVR
Authoring Studio
Step 1. Making sure all the images are importable.
Step 2. Open the program and create either the object movie or panorama
movie.
Step 3. Import all the images
Step 4. Render & adjust different settings to meet your needs
